How do you make asphalt for a road suface in 1/35 scale?
Advice needed.

Have seen really fine sandpaper used to represent tarmac.. Just glue down and paint as required..

It was a relly good article. As usual things are much easier than you think. I wonder why I didn´t think of using plaster.

yeah, a fine grit sand paper sprayed black would be greaty

Hi,
I've used fine sand paper for Asphalt in the past, it works OK, plaster for contrete and chick peas and plaster for cobbles.
Woodland scenics have two products, one for Top Coat Asphalt and one for Top Coat Concrete. I've never used them as I only just notices them on my suppliers web site. Might be another possability. You can view them on
www.netmerchants.co.uk
go to latest additions around page 3 I think. I don't think they are very expensive.
