Well tomorrow i shall try to apply a non-slip texture to the turret of my challenger,fingers crossed i shall be using mr surfacer through a cheap airbrush.so here are some pictures of the turret with masking tape,white tack and maskol to cover the areas thats not recieving any mr surfacer.
i shall post more pics tomorrow if all goes well.

You are a brave man Karl...I couldn't or wouldn't do that to my airbrush and finally decided to add the Mr surfacer with a brush with the bristles cut short ...but people have done it and I'm sure it'll come out fine . Did you cover the back part of the verticle sides? It should not go past the vertical line on the turret just behind the panels fitted for OIF.

yes i have applyed masking tape there.dont worry its only a cheap airbrush,just dont know weather it will pass through the nozzle or will it get clogged

what are you planning to thin the Mr Surfacer with? My stuff is so thick it's even tough to paint it on using a brush sometimes.
