Hiya all, need help (yup, most of the time...)

Does the Italeri kit of the M60A1 (the repop of the esci kit) come with the searchlight or not? How well is it defined? I may have to build a kit for a guy and I need to know if I need to add anything to the Italeri kit to make what i need (such as the searchlight).

Yes, it includes the later style similar to the one included with the Verlinden M48/M60 update set. It is not the same type included in the old Tamiya M60A1 or M60A2 kit.

Thanks Rob...any idea what other fiddly bits are needed to mount the older Zenon searchlight onto the mantlet? I have the whole light setup, but cannot figure out how to mount it to the "3 balls" on the mantlet. I know I have to be missing a piece in there somewhere...

I'll have to look at some references. It has been a very long time (21 years this summer) since I last mounted a searchlight.

To the best of my ability, it looks like there is some sort of L-frame that needs to be attached to the back of the M60. None of my references show the back of the Xenon searchlight, so no help there.

Maybe it just attaches to the top of the two "arms" coming out of the mantlet?
