I'm almost finished with the sherman and decided to build the M-8 next. Any suggestions on detail sets or any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thats a question I am looking for answers on too. I just picked up an old Monogram M-8 Greyhound and am wondering how accurate it is and if anybody makes a good repro 37mm gun?

Ordnance Models makes a deep wading set (# A-034) M8 Greyhound Deep Wading Kit, which looks pretty cool...different too...don't see many built with it.

Tank Workshop also has the wheels w/ chains (# 0087) M8 Greyhound Wheels w/ Chain

Hey Chief! Jordi Rubio's should work as well on the Monogram kit, but I think Monogram's is a 1/32nd scale kit...???

HMMMMMM! The box says 1/35, will have to get the calipers, calculator and steel rule out.

I built the M-8 pretty much out of the box. I only added the VLS wheels with chains. Very nice kit. The Perth Military Modeler site has some super pictures of the model which I used as an example worth of duplication. The decal sheet went on extremely well. There is a tricky national insignia for the engine cover that is well worth the effort to emplace. Enjoy building this baby.
