Shain--It sure does! And one heck of an interior at that.
You should go check out his link.
Adrian--Nice job. Please tell me it is 1/35 or bigger. Great weathering. I especially like the tracks. The color and the way they lay is very convincing.
Minor stuff: should the flag be a little dirtier? And one of your roadwheels looks to be a bit ascew.
Otherwise its a fantastic build.

This model isn't realy big, its just 1/35. The tracks are from Friul and they are realy great. They are mutch beter than the vynil-tracks from the kit.
The flag schould not be as dirty as the vehicle, because this flag is only put on in a manoeuvre with sharp amunition. Its for the security - every man can see that this vehicle is using sharp amunition. Therefore the flag is only for a short time on the antenna.

That looks great. I'm jealous since I've had this kit for a while but haven't tackled it yet. I especially like the interior.
What exactly is the device that replaces the trim vane? Can you explain the markings please.

Great looking model!
Did you use the MR Models conversion?
Also how did you make the decals?
Cheers,
Christophe

Paul--Sorry, but I don't understand your question about the trim vane. What is it?
About the markings: The black and white one is the registrations number, the DLM2 is the marking for the unit and the 211 means second companie, first platoon, first group.
Christophe--I used the Academy kit with the MR Models conversion and Friul tracks. And also a litle bit of scratchbuilding.
The decals are selfmade, with a decal film sheet and a inkjet printer.

Adrian,
What is the long skinny thing on the front?
On most other M113s, there is a flat board called a trim vane which is used when driving through water.

Paul,
This is a rack for storing the soldier's backpacks. On my model there are no backpacks on it, just the empty tarpaulin for covering the backpacks.

Nice model.
Is there also an interior for the 20mm Hägglunds turret?
That turret is the same as on the swedish pbv 302.

Thord,
No, in the MR Models kit isn't included a interrior for the 20mm Hägglunds turret. One have to scratchbuilt it.
