Hello all,
Here is a sneek peek of a quick project I have been asked to do. It is the new Tamiya 1.35 StuG III B. I have built it OOTB as requested, but have been given free reign to paint and weathering. Comments welcomed.
Here is the painting process for the interior.
Black is Tamiya XF-1. Elfbein is Vallejo Light Sand, and Red is Tamiya Hull Red with some buff.

How are the tracks? Are they the 38cm width? Any chance we got hollow guide horns?

The tracks are an early 36cm style (not the earliest). They unfortunatly do not have hollow guide horns.

Hi Sticky I was looking at this very kit yesterday pondering whether to as for it as a wedding anniversary present, I have long gone beyond teddy bears and the similar, but could not come to a decision.
Thanks you have made up my mind from looking at your in the build pictures that I shall indeed ask for one.
Show us the progress.
John

Hi John ..wow that was fast ..just wondering on an early war vehicle ..wouldn't the floor be more the grey-green color instead of the primer? I haven't a clue myself ,but I,m not sure if they were left primer that early .

Bear, the Actung Panzer 5 has pics of an E pulled from a russian bog that is in pretty good shape and even had all orginal paint. The floor is red primer as is the lower gun carriage, the gun and upper supports are in the green, the walls are off white.

Hi John,
Very nice work so far, I am also working on this kit, did you have any trouble with the fit of the upper and lower hull?
regards,
Robert

Hi Robert,
While there was some slop to the fit, I had no real problems lining it all up.
Thanks for the comments!
