I just submitted the proposal for the Humvee campaign (during my rather dull politics lesson ) Finger crossed it will be excepted. I have proposed it for the second half of the year, that way the modern campaing will be wrapped up. Ive also submitted the possibilty of having a best overall model prize for one modeller. I will see if I can get my hands on some sort of prize-probaly Humvee related or modern at least.

When it's approved, it should show up in the Debarkation area.

I guess we will have to wait and see if its approved or not. I know this might not be entirely appropriate, but if it is NOT approved, why dont we have a little friendly competiton amongst ourselves and other interested members? I know it wont be a sanctioned armorama campaign, but perhaps some of the administrators could be the judges and we can set up some basic guidelines. Any one agree?

We've had quite a few non-official group builds that do not earn medals. I've taken part in at least two of them. Best way to get folks to join a campaign is to have a goal and rather loose rules.

It might pay for you to PM Guntruck aka Jim on how your submission is going. Based on past observations, they normally wait for a few submissions before placing it in the Debarkation section. This does allow them to review all submissions at a go rather than having to review them as they come in.

There seems to be a sizeable number of campaigns scheduled for the rest of the year so as already mentioned, if it doesnt go through, do some un-official group builds. Members are sure to participate.

Exactly. The submission has only been there a week. Patience pays dividends...

The idea is an interesting one, the Campaign has been approved and members can join up at the Debarkation Zone...

Wow! Good stuff, the campaign has been excepted. Start getting your humvees together! You've got a bit of time. I choose later half of the year becuase I know a few of the younger member like myself have exams in summer time, so should hiopefully have free summer holidays to spend modelling.
Im going to see what I can do about a prize for the best model. I will have to get some sort of voting thing set up once the campaing has been finished.
