Are 3ID Bradleys fitted with SINCGARS radios in their turrets. Do they just go were the old radios (whatever they are called) go? Any pics of a turret interior with SINCGARS fitted?

Yeah, I believe that they still used the SINCGARS during OIF. I'll have to contact my friend who was with 7th CAV to find out for sure.

It's been almost 10 years since I was in a Bradley, but if I remember correctly the radios mounted either directly behind the TC or more inbetween the TC and Gunner's position on that rear shelf.

I think Robin or maybe it was Epi, has some turret interior pics floating around here somewhere.

In Desert Storm we used PRC 77s and PRC 46s (I think that's what they were called), in OIF I did see SINCARS in some 4th ID Bradleys.

Missed this one. Yes, 3ID did have SINCGARS in OIF, and still do. The radio rack mounts on the shelf behind the TC in the turret. Check out my M7 B-FIST pics to see it there.
