That's a great site! Thanks for the info guys!
Chris
It's a great site, but it doesn't have anything on the Badger.
If you want some Badger info, you could buy my Ram books from Service Publications as there are a couple of nice badger photos in there, including the famous overhead shot in Holland in the spring of 1945. :-)
The Badger used the same flamethrower as the Wasp IIC, but it was mounted upside down as the "chin" on the Wasp's flame gun interferred with the hull underneath the Ram MG mount.
There was usually a plate covering the open turret ring hole with a Ram auxilliary turret mounted in it to provide the commander some protection while directing the flame and to have an MG in the vehicle to protect it from Panzerfaust teams nearby.
The two large fuel tanks from the wasp were mounted in the hull on either side of the drive shaft tunnel, but at least one had racks for additional fuel located on top of the Wasp tanks.
The Badgers were generally not made from Rams as late as the OP, so some slight backdating is needed. Most obvious would usually be swapping the Formations Sherman suspenstion with the Lee type. Check a photo to be sure.
Badgers were held by the various infantry regiments, so they ended up with various regimental tac signs.
