My wife has bought me the afore mentioned brush and as I am compressor-less at the moment I got myself a can of air to practise with, when I depress the trigger of the airbrush however all I get is air coming out of the nozzle and bubbles in the pot. What, if anything, am I doing wrong and does anyone have any tips on getting the best from this product.
I have read elsewhere some good and bad reports of the Aztek products but cant really get rid of it as I want the missus to support my hobby(for once) and dont want to hurt her feelings.
I am using enamel paint(thinned to required consistancy)at the moment but have been considering a move to acrylic.

The air is being forced back into the pot.. Make sure the needle is completely seated in the body of the brush. Before turning the air on, take a look at the needle and see if its moving when you work the trigger.. If you still have issues, take the nozzle out and gently disassemble it. make sure something hasnt gotten stuck in the nozzle. Try another nozzle and see if this helps.. Oh, and welcome to Armorama. Hope to see some of your work..

I agree with dave.
But considering its an aztek you may not went to take the nozzle apart as doing so will end the warranty on it. I usually wouldn’t worry about that but considering its new and giving you trouble if you find there’s a problem with it you may want to have it replaced.
