I bought a big box of built kits yesterday from a guy for $25.00 and inside was about 30 some kits in decent shape..."lots of parts and/or things to readily be blown up on a diorama" came to mind at the time. While going thru the box I came across a dragon wagon and trailer that was 90% finished but the kit looks different. There's no chains on the drive wheels{could be missing} and the whole cab tilts forward on this kit...is this the old perless{spelling} version? I'm one of those folks who bought just the tamiya dragonwagon kit at hobbylobby when they were 50% off, but I never got the trailer{thought it would be easy to find-haha}. I'm happy with the purchase{wife isn't though-hehe}, because there's alot of stuff here..even some kind of twin bladed hovercraft on a stand.
Anyone know the two dragonwagon kits enough to be able to tell me the differences?

The old Peerless Max Dragon Wagon is a highly collectible kit. It used to go for outrageous money on eBay, but the superb Tamiya kit has reduced some of the demand for builder's kits. The difference in quality would be hard to miss.

Hi Bob ..what you got there is the very old Peerless /Max Dragon Wagon from the 70's ...Not much compared to the new Tamiya kit but it was the only game in town back then... If I remember right the trailer looks more like an M15A1 instead of the M15 as tamiya supplies ,but there would be a heck of a lot of work to bring it up to today's standards...
Sounds like you got a lot for your money..
All the best
