Hey all
would anyone know the 35th scale dimensions for the different air recognition panels used in operation Cobra? I'm guessing they were the same dimensions, only the colours altered... They would be expensive to purchase (ie. Archer) so I would like to make my own...
Any help appreciated!
Cheers
Brad

A standard VS-17 is 5'10" x 1'10 1/2". Usually saying 2x6 feet is close enough. Eight inches on one end is OD to tuck everything into.

Thanks mate
So what you're saying is there is 18" of OD in the shape of a 'pouch'? And when unfurled the OD section is tucked underneath I'd imagine?

According to S Zalgoa's discussion on his M8 HMC article over on military modelling's webpage, he said that there was one type that were only plastic panels that were stuffed into a separate bag. Another type had one end of the panel attached to an integral bag.

It's eight inches, and it's sewn on the end (actually the longer, 22 1/2 inch section) and two sides. The unsewn end forms the pouch that when folded, the rest of the panel fits into.
