Hi Rob,
Having got into Vallejo Paints after hearing such great things about them and finding them to be as good as people say, I bought a good selection from Snetterton some time ago and have to say that they airbrush beautifully, I thin them with their own thinner not water, and find that they produce a smooth hard wearing finish.
I would say only by giving them a go can you appreciate the quality.

Might have to order one of the sets I have seen on a famous auction web site.

Hello!
I paint without the ttheyr hinner and the result is also great.
As with water, I didn't had a good experience.
Cheers

G'day everybody,
I have started airbrushing with the Vellejo Model Colour range. I use a window cleaner here in Australia called "Windex" to thin the paint.
However, dont let the paint sit in the cup for too long as the pigments will sink to the bottom of the cup. I stir it up quite often to keep the mixture right.
Cheers Jason

I have used the model colour paint on miniatures before but these are specifically for airbrush use without thinning.
