Got the following message from the MDFC staff regarding my free gift for joining the club. The original gift was to be a set of turned metal cleaning rods for the Tiger. Now the gift is one of two German armor decal sheets sent at random.

Quoted Text

Many, many modelers took advantage of the offer of the MDFC Armor Club's entry gift. In fact, the demand was so overwhelming that the supplies of the Tiger I gun barrel cleaning rods have all been exhausted!

However, the MDFC Armor Club is always seeking more members to participate in our forums and contribute their ideas. Therefore, the MDFC is pleased to announce that a new and equally exciting entry gift is available to all new members signing up. The latest welcome gift consists of high quality dry transfers from one of the world's leading producers. These transfers are ready for immediate application to modelers' current armored vehicle project. In fact, there are two different transfer sheets available! One of these will be distributed at random to new members upon completion of the registration process. So, why not join up now, and immediately receive a free transfer!

Still not bad for free. Below is the link to the free sheets:

I signed up when I was first alerted to the club and free gifts. It took a rather long time for my application to be accepted and get an e-mail allowing me into the forum. I had given up on receiving the free gift a long time ago, but just got the e-mail last night.

I signed up about a month ago and have gotten a few e-mails since but I never got anything that actually said I'm "signed up for the gift".
When I followed the link from their e-mail it's not very clear what they want you to do.
Is their site confusing or is it just me?
