I was wondering if anyone has some good links on the Matilda Mk II. Especially shots of the paint schemes. Thanks.

I got that baby for Christmas and trust we can find something (anything) on her. I believe the vehicle was strictly a training one. Could be wrong, but I do not believe it saw combat. Ken with his amazing reference system will probably come up with something.

Matilda's were used by the Australian army so lot's of Aussie sources of info - try the following:

DJ--The Matilda Mk. II saw plenty of combat. It fought with the BEF in Francee in 1940, fought across the deserts of North Africa with the British and Commonwealth forces, and fought with the Russians via Lend Lease. It may have also seen combat in the Pacific with Commonwealth forces, but that is just speculation. If anyone is interested in Lend Lease Matildas let me know as I have a number of photos that I can scan.
