was wondering if plaster of paris or very similar (texture, paintabilty etc) material is sold in a premixed form? If not what is the closeset thing.

Dry wall compound or spackle should work. Plaster of Paris is a breeze to mix, though.

I use the spackle all the time too. Great stuff. Don't have to worry about mixing the right amount of water to the Plaster of Paris and getting it too wet/watery either.

Big fan of spackle too, I like the new stuff that changes color (from violet to white) to let you know when it's dry enough to sand.

...Can you put paper towel in pre mixed plaster and put on a diarama...isnt that stuff too thick for that?
