hi

The senario is. The germans are on retreat. On the way they have captured a russian truck with some russians. Their own kübelawagen has broken down.
their mood is rising becouse they had little space but now they can load their ammo and fuel supplyes on to the truck. so anyway here are the pictures.

A question does anybody know where the fuelcap is located on the Hummel.

They are unloading ammo.

the man without a hand is going to put ammo in boxes.

So what do you think. I am wery happy with the results so far.

Bear in mind this is my firs diorama and I am new to modeling.

Nice job so far. I like the different elevations and the mixed combination of elements.
As you work on it be aware of how much the Hummel will rip up the ground where it drives.
One thing to do later is to consider weathering, as a vehicle goes to the front and returns it's going to be dirty.
Maybe a few more barrels of fuel in the front right corner.

For an early diorama you're doing really well. Keep up hte good work

Welcome to the Big A. I see from your post that you
just came aboard in January. For your first diorama,
I feel you are off to a good start. As Slodder sez, you
have a group of very interesting elements going
together in this effort. I especially like the flat bed
truck and the two soldiers on horseback. And Scott
mentioned weathering which would add to the
realism of the dio. I would like to also suggest that
you consider working more on your terrain. Go outside
and look at the ground, the grass and try to put some
of that variety of green and brown colors into your
terrain. As it is now, in my view, I think the green is too
bright. I realize that mean a lot more work, but you
could just keep this in mind for your next dio. Wishing
you well with this project. Let us see more pix as you
progress. Good luck,

Thank you for the kind words.

Panzercmdr: There isnt going to be a buildding in this dio because its going to get some more figures on it and it would get just to crowded.
I am afreid it will get to crowded anyway.

I wanted to also mention that the kübelwagen is with the tamya engine repair set.

As for the grass I thought meybe i could get the contrast by just spraying it with different brown and yellow colors.
do you know would it work.
