after a break from modelling for a while, am currently in the "search for cheap kits" phase of my Chosin Resivoir dio.
Anyone else thought about it, or started?

What kind of dio? Tamiya makes an M26 model, but that's $35-ish, and you say you're cruising for cheap models

Due to the late finish date of this campaign I haven't even started. In fact I haven't even dreamed up an idea yet

I'm still thinking on ideas but I know that I have a Trumpeter LAV-25, and a PE kit for it, and a boat-load of pics from my time with LAVs.

M3 Diesel, Midway Island
I chose the oddest color variation that I have ever seen in a WWII Marine vehicle . I have several pictures in reference books showing half dozen or so M3 (Diesels) in sand camoflauge lined up along a beach.
Most people believe these tanks were photographed on Midway Island.
So that's my project an USMC M3 Diesel assigned to Midway.
Sincerely,
Brian
