Whoah dude. Your exhaust looks fantastic, as does the model as a whole. Don't take the seams off. If you look very closely at photos (many on Tanxheaven) you'll find the exhausts had a very prominent seam running across the top. In the few photos where the seam is not visible the exhausts seem to be museum replacements, as some do not have the standard curve in them.
The same can be said about rubber road wheels. You don't always have to sand the seams off, as they can be very prominent. My bet is that judges wil ding you every time unless you show actual photos.
As for what you can do to improve the kit, not much. Out of the box these kits can't get much better, except for the unrealistic grill work over the transmission, and also over the cylinder heads and radiators.
There's a cheap fix for all of them requiring no PE. The two cylinder head grills and radiator grills can be cut down with a dremel until they're as thin as you can get them. Then sand them just to the point where there's no backing behind the grill. Be super careful. Sometimes a tiny bit of ultra thin plastic remains around the edges. It's safer to melt it off with liquid cement than to oversand. The transmission cover can be replaced with wedding veil, styrene strips and small bolt detail. Normally I'd post a pic or two, but I won't be home for a while. If my explanation isn't clear, I'll post some unpainted pics of what I'm talking about in about a week.
