Gidday lads.
Thought I would share a couple of pics Of my latest project the Academy 1/35 M113 Fitters.

I have tried to add a few scratch additions to this kit with little reference material available. It is sraight ootb and I am currently painting all the add ons at the moment. I have missed a few spots which I will touch up later before I start the weathering process.
I plan to make a dio with this veh and will post pics later. I have a long way to go to reach the dizzy heights of perfection but amm always tryin.

Comments welcome and enjoy.

Nice job on the Fitter. I couldn't wait to get that kit. It has now been in the stash for years. Seeing your fine example makes me want to start mine.
I'm looking forward to seeing your diorama.

Looks good so far Dan. Do you have any close ups of the interior, and what paint have you used so far?

Thanks for the comments lads.

I have used MM Israeli sand as the basecoat and tamiya acrylics on the interior.

I have since these pics, added decals and sealed the entire veh with future.

I plan to take better pics of the interior once finished and post them soon.

This has been an enjoyable build so far as I am a fan of the M113 varients. I have all the varients built except the M106 mortar carrier which is my next project.

Again cheers for the comments.

Looking great Dan. I really like the pnuematic hoses for the lifting arm. Good luck with the weathering. Although I build mostly WW2, this was one kit I had to build. Heres my version of the same! The figures are Academy with Hornet heads.

Thanks heaps.
It was trial & error with the hose's but looks good to me.
I really had trouble with the tracks this time around and never had probs before with any aca kit.
Oh well time to hit the desk and start some weathering.

Keep you posted on progress. :-)
