Hi.
I just recieved MR-Models SINCGARS-set in the mail and I have some questions. How are the units, radio, handset, etc connected to eachother and to the vehicle? In my case a Humvee.
The kit also includes two things called "IVRC monitor" and "ECCM-box". What are they and where are they placed?
Any help with this (pictures or drawings) very much appreciated.

The "IVRC monitor" and "ECCM-box" are old and no longer used. The power wires for the mount come into the back and are not usually seen. The antenna wire from the top radio comes out the left side of the radio and goes to the amp on the left side of the mount. From the amp, it goes back to the antenna. The lower radio antenna wire comes out of the radio and goes to the antenna. The handset can either be attached to the strip on the right with connectors, or attached to the speaker box. If attached to the connector strip, there will also be a short wire from the right side of the radio to one of the two middle connectors on the strip. The speaker box wire goes to the rear of the mount.
Can't find a pic of it. I think Epi had some pics. Pete, you out there.

There's a wiring diagram in Matt Leese's review of the ProArt SINCGARS set here on Armorama :

Thank you all for your help. It made everything easier.
Pete, those things under the radiorack, where the handsets are connected, are they loudspeakers?
Does anyone of you have some good pictures of the radio in place in a Humvee?

Yes, those are the new speakers.
As for a Hummer mounted radio, just take the pictures of the racks in the Hummer i have posted and the pictures of the test radios in the shop. they are set up just has if they are in a Hummer.

Thank you for those photos Frenchy. Now I have all the info I need to start this project. The loudspeakers have to be scratchbuilt, but I think your photos will be enough.

I need some closeup pictures of the loudspeakers and some measurements of them.
I thought that the photos I had was enough but I was wrong.

Not sure about what you are looking for, but here are some pics and drawings of the LS-671 loudspeaker that is used with SINCGARS radio sets (some are visible on the pics in my post) :
But I'm sure better pics will pop up soon
