A review of the much anticipated (by me anyways) Academy M2A2 OIF kit is up at PMMS. It looks pretty good, about the same quality as Tamiya's M2A2 ODS kit, just a different and little more up to date version. Still some of the old problems with it and the Tamiya kits, but some nice new parts as well. Old style track is still in it though, bummer. I will still get a few though.

I was just about to post to see if any one here in the states got one yet. I saw some of th esprues on one of the overseas sights and yup, it will be used for parts. I have one on pree order here at my LHS.

bugger.....no interior. I think the manufacturers really under rate details to the interior. damn shame.

I dont get it either. At about $35 here in US retail for current tamiya, its about $6 per sprue. At the minimum, they should throw in the sprue from their M2 and go up six more bucks. Peaple tend to think soldiers when it comes to APCs so they want to see the inside

Well, at least we have another option to choose from. No more Tamiya monopoly I guess... I will probably preorder one from Luckymodel.com
