Hi,
Presently I am working on the Maquette Pz 38t auf 15cm sIG33/1 ausf M Grille. With some minor AM parts and a little TLC.
Does this count?

I have an AV-8A and A-4 in the stash that I may be able to get one or both done for this.
After all. With all this pink armor rolling along. It is the primary mission of the Pig Marine Air Force to provide close air support for the armor.

Don't know if I will go with the Standard pink camo scheme or go with the old High Vis Pink wrap around scheme with chrome wheels..

Dave, after 12 months it'd be good for you!

Chris, hopefully your Grille will be pink! :-) Need some "artillery" in the B&P!

Paul, we do need some CAS! The high-vis and chrome? That should be interesting!

Looking forward to seeing all the builds!

Jinnelmen and Rabies, I just realized, while perusing our (now) multiple sites, that the DSB "Big and Piggy" campaign starts in two days! Not only that but I've ambitiously entered two other campaigns that begin on June first...
Spread the word like it's peanut butter, we must arm ourselves for Armageddon and camoflage ourselves with a very manly and ferocious light-strawberry or perhaps a beastly mauve... maybe a violent, silent, swift and deadly chiffon fuschia...

I'm in, but cause:
(A) I'm temporarily going on 12 hour shifts, 6 days, and
(2) My computer's in the shop recovering from a nervous breakdown (power supply and mother board), and I have to use the library computer in the next town,
I haven't a clue when I'll actually get to work on this, or keep up with the site doings. I REALLY want to do this, but forgive me if it appears by my enforced absence that I'm not interested.

Why not?, as long as it causes destruction and chaos and can be painted pink as well-the more the merrier.

Richard,

Fits rule #1 to a "T" as Mechas are in fact military in nature, however, it does not meet rule #2 (unless it has wheels, wings, tracks, or a keel)(and as I am not familiar with this particular one, I can't confirm or deny). If it does, it's IN; if it doesn't, it's still in because I didn't even think about them.

Official rule set edited to reflect this.

So, yep!!! "Pinkerup!!!!"

It's going to look good in pink with pink mottles

Just curious, is there an official Pig's Heer or Pigswaffe ID mark ?

I'm in the process right now of creating a "Unit Insignia" for the build. It's my hope that they'll be water-slide decals in varying sizes to account for different scales. Hope to have them "designed" soon.

Ken!

A resounding YES! A JU to boot! CAS is needed I'm thinking. Land, Sea, Air......What more could we be asking for??

On a side note: Mojo's got his work cut out for him getting the motorpool, docks, and air strips ready! What a compilation of Military Might!

Build away Sir!!

Hey all,

Some time ago I alluded to some decals for the DSB build. Here's the situation: I truly intended to create (recreate) an exact duplicate of the DSB logo as seen on the forums. Several times I attempted to contact those that could/would authorize this. Yes, I realize that the staff members are very busy, and that this is NOT a priority. After a couple of posts, The Big Boss Guy did acknowledge that I was trying to get a copy of his original .gif, but he needed to see if he could locate it amongst all the "stuff" I'm sure he has filed away. It's been some time since. (I'm not complaining....been doing four college classes, working a new job at 40 hrs, and redoing the front and back yard...busy!)

Here's where I was going out on a limb. I was going to have a friend make a new, exact duplicate, consequences be damned. Well.....barring any issues, I figured I (not we, as it was my doing) would take the chance. Okay. I'm a big boy, I can be told "no" and abide by it (kinda been-there-done-that).

Nothing since has been heard from the uppers, and that's okay by me. Now, not wanting to make any more waves that would be directed to the DSB (did that before and DO NOT WANT A REPEAT) by any naysayers or fluvian-cur (yes, the Fluvians and Curs are inbred) scum suckers, I'm making a "new" pig for the build. I hope to have this done soon. It will be similar, not exact, but will CLEARLY state "WE ARE THE FLIPPIN' DSB!" Roar and ye shall be mudded; smirk and ye shall be smitted by squid arms (legs?) (not calamari), make a fuss and I will merely say upon you: "If you don't like it....go away." (damn we need a "soapbox" icon!)

Anyhow...blah, blah, blah..............I got in the mood to write. It's been a while.

So, if you would like some decals, WHEN they are done, I will need sizes in either mm or inches. I'm not even going to attempt to "scale" them. How big do you need for the plane, the tank, the ship, the 'Mech, the figgie, et cetera. I figure for a 1/35th tank, it's about 1/2 to 5/8 inch.

Support or not? Want or not? PM or email or post it right here. The DSB has been on vacation-mode for too long. Bring it back!

Nuff flippin' said! Geeter Done! Battleking!
