Whats the lowdown on this kit. I have just purchased it at a great price and need to know what tweeks are needed to bring it up to a good standard. I would prefere to make it a US version but am unsure what is needed to do so.....

Cheers

This site has some info on the M48A5 model: M48 Construction Notes. There are also other modeler's construction notes on that same site.

What I liked about the kit was the actual rubber to install around the wheels and PVC tubing for the mantlet mounted light. The side skirts are a nice touch for the Korean version.

But, no "lense" for the light came in the kit and the leading trail arms need to be dropped slightly to line up with the rest.

...and IMHO this kit includes very accurate M48 "flush" sprockets (better than those of the Tamiya M48 kit for a Vietnam war tank), even if you stil have to drill the mud holes...
