Hi guys,
Your entires are all looking great.
Polarbear... excellent metal finish! What ever became of the SAABs that were supplied to Ethiopia?
007... nice in progress shots... any more updated ones?
Savage... nice to see a F1-AZ... there's a nice profile of 228 in VEG edition 06, also in the hi-viz 3 tone scheme
BARV... Oly1A ARV looks very very cool! Excellent work mate!
I should have some pics tonight...
Rudi

Work In Progress pictures...
Hopefully I finish the tank tonight, when flu and family are not taking all the time away
The grey-green camo is authentic, although I still find it a strange patern for a tank in African theatre service.
Than again, it was 1925... :-)

Working hard against time!
It's now 23:19 (Amsterdam time) and this is how far I go tonight: 99% done!!!!
Only the antenna cable to be placed, but my flue is getting me and I take an asperine and go to bed...
Using the time Rudi gave us to complete and post pictures to finish the thing (and make some bether pictures).. So; I'll be back!!

Hi Paul,
Looking good, mate. So close, and yet so far?
IMHO she could do with a touch more dust... here in Africa the one thing you cannot escape is the dust

Hi all!!!
Bether late than never!
I took Tarok's advice for some extra dust.
Antenna is in place.
Here's she is:
Tarok, thanks for this great campaign!
I really enjoyed it very much and it are all very nice entries! Real special, out of the ordinary!
It make me walk through some interesting parts of African history, it was hard to choose between several subjects (I had a bushwar T55 in mind also) and suddenly, the campaign was allready at it's end...
Well, I have enough ideas for a second Siya Africa (hint, hint...)
Paul
PS: I'm planning a little dio for the TSF!

Great looking entry, Paul! Imaging what can be done with "lemon-plastic" (?) - Now it is your turn to explain! Interesting story behind this model!
Great to see the "odd" tanks and aircraft that this campaign brought out!
Cheers!
