Just bought a ultrasoundcleaner for my spent .45LC blackpowder cases, I was thinking, anybody tried to clean a airbrush in a ultrasound cleaner ?

Nice idea, never tried it though. I will ask my jewel maker modeller friend. See if he knows.

Up until I moved to the East coast of the UK, I have a friend who is a professional jeweller, whom I used to help with some of the simple tasks and in return did often use his Ultra sonic tank to clean parts of my airbrush, Needle, Nozzle, and such. As the process was to use a very hot water ammonia mix, I never used to place anything in it that had seals or washers that might have been damaged.
I had great results and miss it nowadays that I do not have access and cannot justify spending the money on such a professional unit as he had.

I use one regularly for my Aztec nozzels. For my Iwata I only use it to clean the paint cups, the rest I do by hand.

I have an Ultra Sonic cleaner and have been useing it for about 2 years on all 3 of my Iwata airbrushes, i take my airbrush apart and toss everything in and run the parts threw the cleaning cycle 3 times works great. One thing you should not do is soak any airbrush for hours even in water sometimes the seals swell up and you ca't get the brush back together.
