I have this book at my house it's called "Desert War In North Africa" Well I started flipping through it and saw the chapter called "Decision At El Alamein" and then I thought to my self that would be a dio worth building so I need some info on the german bunkers in that area what they looked like and some pics.

Matt,
IIRC El Alamein was a pretty flat and fluid battle. I don't know that there were many bunkers. Do a GIS (Google Image Search) for some inspiration. And, keep us posted.

On the history channel this month, they were doing a series on Rommel. This week was the Desert Campaign. They showed alot of footage on El Alamein. From what they showed, everyone basically dug in. Check out www.historytelevision.ca and look for Rommel for the next showing..
