Hi.

My local hobbyshop has just started to sell Testors airbrushcleaning staion. Does anyone have any experience of it? Is it good/bad? How does it work?

I have had one for a few years and have altered mine to be used with not only my A470 but other brushes as well. It works well, but having had it and used it I am not sure I would have purchased it knowing what I know now. Just my humble opinion

I have a small coffee can with a filtered lid which works as well. One still must clean the base of the station which is expected but when you can just toss the base such as with the coffee can and replace it with another (recycled products) it just easier. The best part of the Testor cleaning stand is that it can hold the brush as well but so does my airbrush stand...I am not in any way stating the product is bad by any means for some it may very well be a great piece but I fail to see the value.

The Testors Airbrush cleaning station is very useful for someone who lives in a small room, apartment and having no large working place for modelling... this station had a paint filter to avoid the paint particles suspended in the air when cleaning. I had used one before as Jay Asrouch (Minuteman) but from the day that I left my tiny room in town to live in the countryside with more space, a large workspace... I forget where I put it.
