I would like an opinion please :-)
I live in an apartment and I really don't have a place to airbrush my models. There isn't really any place outside I could do this either.

I was thinking of getting a box (I have an empty box that my 19" monitor came in, so it's plenty big enough) and spraying the model inside. I would open a window and get my fan and put it behind me to blow the fumes out the window as I'm spraying.

Sound ok, or anyone have a better idea?

Just make sure you get an old sheet to act as a drop cloth. The overspray "dust" lands everywhere. I used to do something similar when I lived in the BOQ in Germany. Obtained a big box, set it on one of those TV tray tables and sprayed. You gotta work with what you can get.

Hey The Game;
Same for me here :-) I live in apartment and I do use a monitor box for my airbrushing sessions, I cut a hole in the upper face where i put a light source (to better see what I´m doing ), and I try to spray an area near the kitchen where is a large window.
It works for me for the past 5 yrs....
Cheers!

I did the same thing too before buying a spray booth. Worked fine, for a long time...

I also read somewhere that somebody used one of those large plastic tubs (the types you find in Wal-Mart that come with the lids, about the size of a large laundry basket). That person may have cut a hole into it and added a small electric motor to suck out the fumes. I believe he said cleanup was fast since all he had to do was snap the lid onto it and put it away.

I just bought one of the large plastic tubs at Target.
I like that idea better than a box because it's clear plastic and will let more light in.
Thanks for the reply guys.
