I ask because I have a couple of the Tamiya centaur and Cromwells in the stash and have ordered bronco's new Comet heavy cruiser and was wonbering if any company has released a match for Bronze green for WWII British armour. If not, Does anyone have a mixing ratio that has worked for this paint color that has eluded us for years??? Any help would be apprecited. STUG

Bronze Green was an early war color that wasn't around by the time of Centaurs/Cromwells/Comets' appearance on the continent by 1944. SCC15, the British Olive Drab would be your best bet. Have a read here (the latest research):

Note the discussion about the old "Khaki Green"

Thanks Roy, So basically I ned a mid-tone OD, but it brings the next quetion that wans't touched what was the color of the Royal Marine centaurs at Normandy? Again reseach pointed to 2 possible colors being used, the mantion Bronze green and the the otehr being a darkened tone Earth. Any suggestions??? Thanks STUG
After hitting the MAFVA link on camoflage the question about a Centaur color at Normandy is even more confusing. I can see where SC15 Olive drab would be the color of the day, but there is also reference to "special" units using prior colors and to vehicle having to wait for a maintence area to be repainted. This is gettig to be a situation of "go ahead and guess" for the Centaur. lol STUG

The jury's still out on the RMSC Centaurs. There are colour photos that look green and some that look brown. Usually of different vehicles (to the point where I am wondering if the colours weren't different on different vehicles.
The actual colours would be SCC15 Olive Drab, which wasn't a mid tone green, but a dark OD with just a hint of more green than the US shade, and SCC2 "Service Colour" which is a brown, most aptly described as "fresh dogsh*t brown". If in the green, the paint would most likely be relatively fresh and dark. If in the brown, it might be more worn and a slightly lighter shade.
Your mileage may vary.

Paul, I was editing my post, with when you repied. I have to agree with you on it might have been a situation where one vehicle was OD and the one next to it was a dark brown. Thanks guys STUG
