Gents, was over visiting the Dragon website this morning and came across this little bit of informaton:
1/72nd M4A3(76)W VVSS Sherman
These 1/72nd Dragon armor kits are very detailed for this scale. With all the slide molding technology they have been putting into their 1/35th armor kits, these "braile scale" kits are truly amazing.
Over the past week or so, I managed to pick out a few Dragon 1/72nd kits out of my stock, just to have a look for myself. I have not built any 1/72nd scale armor kits in years (back to the days of the old Esci 1/72nd kits), and was amazed at the level of detail Dragon has achieved. I'm hooked now, and these little kits are perfect for a quick weekend build, and thats a good way to motivate yourself to move onto larger projects !
Anyhow, I'm sure an more in depth review will follow soon, but this new Dragon 1/72nd M4A3(76) W VVSS Sherman kit is a "must-have" for anyone who builds this scale, or like me, would like to get back into it. Be sure to check out all the pages on the link above.
Dragon does it again
Cheers !!

Just an observation about the box art, but I thought "Cool Studs Inc #4" was a 761st Tank Bn vehicle crewed by African-American troops, not the Caucasians that are shown.

Jimbrae sent me this information over a month ago. Nice box art and markings. Finally, a new Sherman that isn't over $30. This will be a welcome addition to my 1/72 scale Sherman collection. I'll need several of the to swap turrets and update other kits.
