Nicely done Karl, especially the effects on the wooden benches that really look worn and abused.
For covering, tissue and masking tape will really work well.

Lets see more as you progress.

Nice affects I like it.

To mask this off I would start with some general masking tape (the brown stuff or whatever tape you typically use). I start in the corners with a piece about 1" (2cm) and I mask each corner on the inside. Then I move to the middle overlapping the corner tape.
This leaves a 'ring' of tape with the sticky side out. The only 'stuck' area will the edge of the just above the grab handles are (that will be tricky to mask around with this technique).
Then I make a dome of paper using the part of the tape.

Here's a picture from the back

Very nice paint job Karl! I like that you can see the difference between metal and wood. Can't wait to see the outside!

Karl, the easiest way to mask one of these 251's is to ball up some kitchen towel and stuff a few of them in, then take a clean piece and lay it over the top, tucking it between the handrail and the sidewall. Works for me.

Very nice weathering, really like the wood and floors. Great Job.

I do what Vinnie B. does, but I use kitchen plastic wrap (like Glad "Cling Wrap") instead of paper towel.
