just finished this right now paint still wet heh, this is oob and was a real easy and pleasurable build im aware of the accuracy issues and the tracks being wrong but what the hey it still looks good to me,
it was painted with mm acrylics and then weathered with oils.
thanks for looking and all comments are welcome.

I really llike what you've done here. The mud on the fenders is just right. This bad little boy's been outh there doing its job butu hasn't been playing inthe mud bog. The rust looks realistic. The only thing you missed was the head lights otherwise, just about perfect for an oob of this kit.

Awesome looking little Stuart! I have this one in my to do pile as well. I picked up the Verlinden exterior detail set and some AFV Club link tracks. I'd be thrilled if it turns out looking near as good as yours. I have the M8 HMC and Academy Honey waiting to be built too. I guess I've been bitten by the Stuart bug.

Al,
I must not be seeing it, what is missing?

Ron,
Nice rendering of a Stuart. The appearance would be even better with stuff strapped on it.

Sincerely,
Brian

Agree with AL here Biff!
The mud looks A1, and is just the look I'll be going for with my M4A1(76) [maybe next months' entry?]
Good enough in my eyes to drop a vote on you this month!!
Cheers
Brad

No worries mate!
Half the voting notion IMHO is for something that has your interest...
Now. Quid pro quo...
How did you get the faded OD look, and the wet/dry mud finish? The sandskirt hinges really add to the contrasts you can get with a wash also...
Cheers
Brad

Have to agree with the guys above. Nicely finished. I like the weathering a lot. I think more should take simple little projects like this, every now and again, and finish them quickly. It keeps modelling fun.

I built this kit a few years ago ... took 5 hours to build, including filling the sponsoons. I just added some sandbags from milliputt to dress it up a bit. I just spotted that I havenīt painted the headlight either! :-)
Where were you Al when I need you most! :-) :-)

You did an excellent job on the Stuart. IMHO everything looks great. Take pride in that one.
