Last week I was able to get a very cheap priced Tamiya T55A at a Hobby Lobby I'd say the price, but I'd probably be burned in effigy :-) I am looking for any suggestions for like camo schemes, and markings in Warsaw pact markings I will probably get the CMK dozer blade for it I heard the Verlinden dozer blade is for the IDF version Besides the CMK blade is cheaper

I will try to get the correct sag using kit tracks if I can Is there anything I need to watch out for building this kit? Thanks in advance

I found one on clearance for $15. If you do a search of my latest topics started, you will see a conversion that I am thinking of doing in the future with my latest steal.

Hola General,

Can I suggest Croatian camo schemes. During the war they were quite... different from anything you have seen.

link to a ML tread

I have quite a collection of funky camo schemes in my reference books, so if you are interested let me know.

Mario.

I did my t55 in parade colors. Russian Armor Green with white high-lights on wheel hubs, fenders and end of gun-tube. sprayed with a semi-gloss / gloss coat. If I remember, these tracks do well with model cement and glued the top down to represent sag.

Ive always liked the scheme used during the invasion of Czechoslavakia, Russian green (obviously) with a broad white cross covering the entire turret top.

I believe this scheme was also used during the Soviet era Zapad wargames.

Hi Chad,

It's not too late to do that T-55 up as an African beast for the SiyaAfrika campaign... Might make for something different on the model shelf ... and heaven knows there's enough Soviet and former Eastern Bloc arms floating round in Africa...

If I can build it in time for the campaign I will I think I may have over extended myself a weeee bit for the first half of the year for campaigns :-)
