Anyone in the UK know where to get, pouring resin to simulate water?
How is concrete simulated for aircraft hard-stands for 1/48 a/c?
Cheers

hey Martin. Depending on what type of water you need, sometimes there are easier methods of making water without resin. I made water under a bridge using lots of layers of gloss varnish with a little tint of green oil paint in it or brown in the first few layers. Ripples I made from glue gel, tinted with white on the highest points and then just the clear varnish over it. see the picture to see what I mean. Unless you want a water fall or serious water movement it can be made this way. I believe that you could make any shape of water falling etc or rapids with tile cement and then paint over as i described above. But so far this is my only attempt at water!

Do a forum search for Tarmac. There are a number of concrete duplication methods mentioned, some get very specific.
As far as specifically for hard points - didn't see anything. I'm hoping you may be able to gleen information and apply it to your needs.
