Hi all,
What a silence! Where has everybody gone? I want to see new large scale projects! :-) :-) :-)
I'm still busy with meetings and my Sherman project. Here are some pics taken at the last BTN meeting:

Expect a new update on my M4A3E8 soon by the way! Here are some new pics, with the new brass sandbag racks:
Well that's it for now. How are you all doing? Any new project? Where has everybody gone?

Still working on my 1/15 Verlinden Jeep - due to a attack of "extra detailing fewer" its turned into a slowmover, even if the kit actually is straitforward.
Might post some shots later ...
Your Sherman is really starting to look great!

Thanks for your reply. Good to hear I'm not the only one working on something :-)
The Sherman project is going rather well. The hull front looks a bit different by now, I'll post new pics when I've finished it (including new, working lights, working MG, thinner headlight and claxon guards, more realistic placed sandbags and some tree trunks to keep the MG free )

Hi,
What M113 kit do you have? Sounds like a fun project!
I hope to upgrade my Sherman soon with new gearboxes and metal T-66 tracks

I've been working like a dog! Some 10 hour days and went back to doing Saturdays (YUCK) so Sundays is my only day off so far.
I have been ebay shopping picking up some collectable 1/24 & 1/25 armor and recently scored on a Kirin 1/16 Renault Stellung Normandy Bunker Kit! I want to make some kind of action type bunker so I will build it on top of another structure.
Too many things to do and not enough time to do them I guess! Thanks for the great pics of the outdoor battles! They're great!

Big Pershing, after I finish my small one as a range target for OBG.I will show pictures of the build here. Since I have the 105 Sherman,I wonder how dropping the Persh turret on the sherman hull would look as the proposed upgrade for Shermans was envisioned... (++) (++)

Actually, the T-23 WAS a proposed tank using the M4 suspension, but they were rejected because they felt it was too difficult to maintain. The T-23 prototype led to the developement of the T-25 and 26, which became the Pershing as we know it.
When the T-23 was cancelled, they just upgraded the M4 with the T-23 turret for the Sherman, which was already in full production and was easy to produce and maintain,
