Does any one know if there is a kit or conversion available for the m88a2 hercules(1/35)? Thank you

Real Model has a conversion kit. You still need the AFV Club M88 or M88A1 kit to build it.

AEF Designs and Real Models has conversions out for them. But I hear AEF is a hit a miss on quility and I know for a fact that the Real Models kit isn't worth it that much because I have one.

The Real Models kit has a complete upper hull to replace the plastic one, but it is hell to clean up and fit. I just used it as a template for the additional armor. I did use the boom, the side skirts, and the new front winch from the kit though.

I used to see one of those on sale at Village whne it was open that was the only place I ve seen it

When I was commissioned to scratchbuild a model of NBC News' "Bloommobile", modeler Pete Gay was tasked to build the accompanying Hercules to display with it. He felt the same as Epi related - that the Real Model product was good for templates, but not much else. Pete rendered a fine M88A2 - I trust what he and Epi said 'bout it.

Do you have pictures of Pete's 88 or no where I can see them. I want to finaly finish mine, but I threw away the box and the hull top and I am missing some stuff on mine.
