I called a couple of times, and it was always "shipping at the end of this week." I finally just cancelled it.

I just got an Email last night! It has shipped, my credit card is being charged, couldn't read the rest of it through the tears of joy. It's been a long wait! Fortunately this hobby tries my patience so this wait has been a breeze

I also had pre-ordered mine back in November, and was wondering if this kit would ever be released. Must have been something in the air yesterday, as I sent them an email at noon inquiring about my order, and when I checked my email later that evening, I also had an emailed invoice stating that the kit was shipping soon. I guess I'll keep an eye on the mailbox and wait.

According to Frank DeSisto on ML ....

Quoted Text

Reason for delay is... April 20 2006, 8:16 PM

...the reworking of part Y-3, which is the front part of the internal gun mantle. It is the sleeve around the gun tube and is then attached to the main mantle, part Y-1.

It has been re-worked to make its walls thinner on the outside (i.e., the tube shape has thinner walls but the inner dimension remains the same).

There is also an addendum to the instructions that direct the modeler to remove eight bolt heads from the fender parts, because the Ausf.B did not have the small external flaps for the engine air intake louvers.

The new parts came to me today, which means that DML fixed something that they noted at the last minute, BEFORE shipping kits to their paying customers.

I found a "TEMP' charge on my credit card last night. Charged to Dragon USA, Pz IV B is shipping yet? I heard there was one more tweak before shipping yet I've also read that a member of another site has one in hand

Gents. I got word last night that my 2 Cyber-Hobby/Dragon Pz Kpfw IV Ausf B kits (CHC-6297) had been shipped via Fed Ex 24APR06. Keep in mind I had originally ordered them 25NOV05. Long wait I would say, but Dragon USA customer service has been excellent since day 1.

Perhaps Cyber-Hobby/Dragon kits will have a faster turn-around now. With their Sd Kfz 234/4 update (CHC-3828), which is out now, together with their announced Sd Kfz 251/2 Ausf C 2 in 1 (CHC-6326), and Sd Kfz 251/23 Ausf D (CHC-6293) kits, you would think that they would be releasing them alot quicker.

Sometimes anticipation works wonders. Gets the "jones" going

Cheers !!

It's packaged alot like the D I'm working on.(just a quick look at the directions) There is a sweet Polish campaign version that should contrast nicely with those camo'd "big cats" upon me shelf. Now if Tiger IV would get back to me with that Panzer grey finish I'll have two projects on one table!
It's on the way, now!
