Greeting all,

I wonder if anyone has any photo's/idiots diargams of the marking used on British/Commonwealth DUKWs on D Day.

I'm building the Italeri kit stright OOTB and haven't yet done any specific research.

Would the Allied DUKWs have been crewed by RASC perosnnel and therefore carried the Red/Green AOS?

Has anyone ever seen one with a big Red Cross on the front at the top.? I got two kits cheap in the AA sale and had thought of doing the second vehicle as a casuality evacuation vehicle.

Has anyone built the Airfix one as I believe the marking for it are British and if so could I please get a copy of the marking layout?

As far as loads go, I assume petrol and ammunition were always carried separately?

I'll check IWM for photo references but could do with some help here so any information or links that might help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Al

Greetings all,

Thought I'd reply to myself to re-activate this in the hope someone might pick up on it.

Cheers

Al
