Hi guys !!
What would you say is the best material to represent grass in a Dio.
Is static grass better than Heki, what is the difference between the two, Pics of the finished product would be very helpful and where can you purchase the stuff in the UK.
Any info. Web sites etc. gratefully welcomed.
Thanks in advance

Are you looking for short or long grass?
There are many types of short static grass Hudson & Allen is one of my favorite. Heki, Is a great choice as well... Jackhammer 81 Aka Kevin did a reivew of it.

Thanks Paul, I'm considering both types and also making some of my own from old Hemp rope.
I have seen pictures of some types of grass that I would like to use, just not sure what type it is. Static or Heki.

Lt-Shultz, if you could show us the pics of the grass you want to use maybe we could help you out with what it is. I can show you three of the wild grass types.
This first one is Noch wildgrass
Silflor wildgrass
and Heki
Hope this helps. Cheers Kevin

As to which Heki to buy...that is all up to you, I like to use the wild grasses, they offer a good height and an unkept look. As for the color there are amny to choose from, I would pick one that matches the season you are wanting to portray. Cheers Kevin
