im building the blast models OIF weapons ring and am just wondering what colour the whole ring, shield and grenade launchers should be for a generic 3 tone nato Marine Humvee using the blast doors and weapons ring.

Could be 3-tone camo, dark green, or sand. Just like any other parts on current HMMWVs, they can be a multitude of color combos based on replacement and/or added parts.

Here is a prime example of what Gino is talking about. I left the front hood like it came straight from the factory and hasn't been painted yet. The gun shiled is factory green and the ring is painted along with the turtle back.

Thanks for the help, I think Im going to paint mine a factory green and perhaps the gunshield desert yellow. That weapons ring set is damn sweet, I made a couple of copies of the gunshield and mount to use on future projects-save me buying the whole set again.
