I have a question for Panzer 4 Pros. Was there any chasis that had only 3 return rollers? The reason I ask is that the instruction for Dragons Late Prod Brummbar only has 3. All Late Prod Brummabrs which I have seen either have side skirts or have 4 return rollers. From what I have read panzer 4 Ausf H,J were used for Late Brummbars. Help!

Yes - there were some later Panzer IV chassis that had 3 return rollers instead of 4. See photo below of the Jadgpanzer IV Lang 70 at Aberdeen. Also note the forward two steel ground rollers - I believe the Late Brummbar had 2 or 4 steel bogies.

Thanks Chris.

Thought I was going to have to rip off and find 2 more for a second there. That chasis looks the exact same as the one on the model.

Brian, From what I've read the Panzer IV Ausf J went from 4 to 3 return rollers. More than likely this was to save resources and ease production so I'ld bet all variants switched around the same time.
I thought I was going nuts the first time I saw a photo of one too.
