Does anyone know if the Italeri 1/35 scale US Army M-101 Field Howitzer kit # 319 comes with the figures?

Yes, the kitcomes with 3 figures, one holding a round preparing to load, the second kneeling down and talking on a radio, the third is standing and spotting rounds with binos. The other accesories include four more 105mm rounds, the radio for figure #2, two metal round storage cases, and all three figures have holstered pistols and ammo pouches. The figures are pretty good. They are outfitted in WWII fatigues with leggins over their boots. Here is the M101 with figures in a small dio that I did.
M101 #1 M101 #2

I highly recommend the kit.

Hmmm, I have two of those on the shelf... I may have to build them now. They look like nice kits. With some imagination you could make a nice little diorama. Nice job, by the way. I think I even have some 105 rounds.

IMMHO, this is a great kit! I built mine many years ago, and still like to pull it out and look at it. Only thing that I did to mine was to cut and fold over (and up) the shields.

BTW....HeavyArty, yours is real nice!

Thanks,

I have had my eye on that kit for some time now at the hobby shop. I guess I will have to get it tonight at the meeting. #:-)
