the second volume to Citadel South has just been released by Fedorwicz Publishing and my copy arrived today. There are 540 photographs, of the same quality as the previous volume, as well as several pages of colour plates depicting the units involved. These range from Tigers and Ferdinand's, through various halftracks and Sdkfz 233's.
As with the previous book, there is a short overview of the battle in the front of the book, nothing too indepth, as that is not the purpose of the book.
If you are interested in this type of book, then i can heartily recommend this one to you, once again the publishers have,IMHO, produced a book that will become a classic on this subject.

Hey Hawkeye, u should submit a review so we can get a taste for this book. Soundsd like a good one. Gotta love it when the first Fedinands went into the fray. Who thought that such a lumbering tank would fair well without any close up protection?

Hey Brian,
if no one beats me to it i will. Not sure when i will have the time to look atteh book in depth though......but will psot my opinions of it when i have.
The Germans did not seem to learn the leasson of the Ferdinands and the missing close in weapons, they made the same mistake on later varients as well
