Well it's not finished - that will not happen till I can get some Scenic Woodlands water tomorrow.
But I thought I'd best post a pic at least of where I am at seeing today is the last day of the campaign.
I still have a large palm tree to go in, and a little more ground work +plus some touch ups and final weathering.
When I went to pour my first layer of water I found that my casting resin had dried up on me !!
Anyway I will post better pics once finished - sorry to those of you on dialup
EDIT: I resized the pic - the first one was close to 2 Mb

Hi all,
thanks for the response / feedback.
This was my first 120 mm dio and a lot of fun. Bloody big tho
The plants are mixture of Custorm dioramics, verlinden, hudson and allen and some aquarium plants I came across.
The idea is a of a SEAL fire team, with a kit carson scout, that has ambushed and wounded the local VC tax collector. Unfortunately the SEAL's have the unenviable task of following up a wounded enemy....
My question is should I have a blood trail near the VC gun and hat? Only a small amount but enough to illustrate that he has been hit?
I'll post some more pics outisde - these are bad due to lighting.
Thanks

I really like your scene. I didn't realize it was 120mm. I think a little blood on the hat and ground would be great

Thanks Alan,
I think I will include a small blood trail - I'll try and make sure it's tastefull.
I was also going to print off some scaled down dong and have it spilling out of a dropped sack - to support the tax collector storyline. Do you think that's too much?

To be honest I would not really equate VC with tax collector (but I know what you mean.) I see Charlie as a sneaky little guerilla fighter and less to do with finances. You don't want it to look like a street (jungle) robbery.

Blood? ...
It is clear as is, in my opinion. The Coolie and rifle already gave that away.
Dong?...
It would be confusing and distracting as 'ShermiesRule' described. Although, I wouldn't mind seeing scaled down Dong coins independently, I think coins were still used during the " American War " , as Vietnam refers to that conflict.
Your Groundwork... Is FANTASTIC
