I wanted to share something I learned about doing a wash that makes it much easier. This would be used for a figure on the seam lines or a tanks recesses. first I mixed up a dirty black color using black and charcol gray. Then add three parts dawn dish soap and last but not least dilute it way down with either water or acrylic thinner. The soap mix in the wash makes it very easy to remove the excess or spill over wash off of your model just buy using a damp Q-tip or your wifes make-up spoung. I always had a problem getting that excess paint off but by using the dish soap in the mix it comes right off without any hard scrubbing. #:-)

I just wanted to add that is also works good for airplane panel lines.
