This is Tamiya's M1046 TOW missile launcher converted into a soft top and further converted into a guntruck. Since there are so many guntrucks out there, I decided to take a different approach at creating something realistic while testing my scratchbuilding skills. So I took a number of Humvee pictures and combined them together.

And the model:

Looks a good scratchbuilding job Jeff, but the final weathering you made looks strange to me...

cheers

Thanks. I didn't use an airbrush, so the effect is not entirely what I wanted, but the flash on the camera brings it out too much as well.

Looks pretty good. Couple corrections though. On the left side, you have the tires switched. The center hub with the bar across it is the rear hub. You have it correct on the right side. Also, your Mk 19 rounds are painted in reverse. The casing should be a steel-greenish (parkerized?) color with brass bullet ends . Looks like this:

Rear tow pintle looks AWOL too.

Looks like a good, solid build. Couple minor corrections and it will be great. Good job.

Thanks Gino, I'll correct my mistakes. I put the chassis on in a hurry, so I probably did forget the tow bar.
