Some more progress on my firefly.
i had to fit a couple of bed rolls on the turret side to hide the pistol port as henk told me that this tank did not have one :-) you live and learn
i have added the diesel spill to the left side of the hull also added a lighter green patch to the same side.
hope am going in the right direction?
next i shall start weathering the lower hull with dry mud made from mig powders, then i can add the suspension an wheels.
Thanks for looking

Hi Kark,
Hmm, not sure about the pistol port, need to check.
Nice bedrolls, I would think that the straps would be of a webbed variety, the British didn't use a lot of leather kit in WW 2 although there was some stuff still around form WW 1.
Coming along nicely.
Cheers

I have this same kit sitting in the closet waiting to jump out! I was curious if you used the barrel with the kit or went aftermarket? My kit barrel looked kinda warped so I opted for a Jordi Rubio. Was your kit barrel fine and I just got a bad one or what?

Hi Hellbent ...you did well to change the barrel on your Firefly as the kit barrel is too long ..I don't know about the JR barrel but the Eduard and Formation barrels do correct this problem ..

Looks really nice so far. I
One thing you may want to do is shoot a flat coat onto the turret and those bed-roles. They're painted nice, but the gloss makes them look a little bit like toffee candy
