It looks like a nice kit I hope we don't have to wait too soon for it to come out.
We need a kit to replace the Tamiya kit that is loooong in the tooth.

Heck with it, I already have the tamiya kit, the verlinden interior, new set of tracks, photo etch. I have too much money already invested, just going to have to deal with it.
Cant continue with this evil cycle of buying, seeing a better/newer kit come out, buying THAT kit, building or not and my stash not decrease, only increase. Going to have to lay off .

Well I went to a hobby store yesterday and I came out without buying anything....even though at first I already found a trumpeter KV-1, tristar Flakpanzer, and numberous dragon kits......
My girlfriend bought a kit though, for me, a 1/72 dragon halftrack. Sweeeet
Still with all those new kits, like this M3, it's hard for a modeller to keep his wallet closed!

I think that I may be tempted away from my usual Axis builds as my regiment used these in the desert and I have great memories of veterans describing how the tank worked including turning the engine over each morning to get it to start due to the hydrostatic lock that was present after being shut down.

I sure hope they fixed the dimensional issues and the turret/mantlet problems that the old Tamiya kit had.

Well, Academy had some very nice kit and some very disappointing (Sheridan .... brrr), but with this interior I would by it even if the mantlet will have the shape of a Pz IV. One huuuge door on each side, another one on the top - this interior will be visible without cutting out the hull! It's so disappointing working hours on small details and finally you can only show them with an endoscope

I don't think my beloved "LuLuBelle" will mind a rivet or two misplaced, she just couldn't handle the figure and shape Tamyia made her wear. :-)

I have to say in the past I had no interest in an M3 Lee but after seeing all the press about this kit I just might have to at the very least check it out!!!!

Whoooeeee, I've been hanging on to the old Tamiya Lee for years, hoping something came along that didn't require major surgery to fix. And it looks like it's almost here. Now if someone only made a little figure of Humphrey Bogart to put up in the commanders hatch...

Of course, the real question is, when will they bring out a boxing of the Grant?

Fantastic!! a M3 Lee with interior and a Char B1 bis in the same year........have I slipped into dreamland alternate dimension?
What are the differences between the lee and gran besides the turret? Possibly we might get a Grant in the same year......
Hopefully they will package the suspension and tracks for sale. I could use those on a Sherman or 2.

Amen to that. I've two or thee Shermans in the stash that I'd love to use those on. I already robbed my Tamiya Lee for those for a Priest. Those Tammy Less are getting fewer and fewer. If they could come out with a kit of just the suspension and tracks, and price in under $10.00 I think they'd have another winner.
I'm looking forward to this kit also. I

Ah yes the good old M3. Got the privilege of seeing one up close and personal a couple of months back and manage to get lots of walkaround shots. Will definitely serve as good reference when i build this kit.
Let me know if you guys want to have a look at it as well.

Yeah, a scene from Sahara would be great. I seem to recall a Bogart figure, though not in 1/35. Sculptors? Lots of possiblities (African Queen) if you'd just do the head. I'd buy a couple.

There was a Boggie figure as Rick, in Casablanca years ago, 54mm, but can't remember who made it.
