Yeah, I'll comment. That's a very nice finish-subtle, not overdone. The tracks are especially nice. The decals went on well too. One exception, the ones which read "besposhadnii" have a bit of an edge above each one. Some flat varnish ought to kill it. Great build.

I agree looks good overall. However, as someone said, you can see the border on the decals. Also, I notice in picture 2 that the ejector pin marks aren't filled in on the extra armor piece that the clamp for the tow cable is connected to. I am pretty sure that these need to filled in and aren't supposed to be that way on the real thing.

Boy,..... tough crowd in this neighbourhood!... Nicely painted KV1 Chris. The tracks are perfect, and the slight discolouration on the tank is subtle but effective. My hats off to you.

an excellent build and even better paintjob & weathering...
except the thing with the decal top edges and pin marks i can only notice that spare tracks on right side are not "tied up" with anything to the tank so my guess those would fall off the tank when it moves...
But i like the weathering much

Boy,..... tough crowd in this neighbourhood!... :-)
As it should be. Others have helped out with things my old eyes have missed. And I would sure want to know when I missed something on one of my models. (again, the eyesight thing)
All in all it makes everyone a better modeler. And if you have aspirations of judging, it's good to notice the things that need improvement as well.
Still a very nice build overall.

Although Chris did ask for comments, I feel I should defend him on a couple of points. The slight decal edge shown on the turret,...it's very minor,... as anyone who has ever photographed a model knows, the camera can pick up levels of detail that the eye cannot, and the tracks on both sides of the tank ARE bolted on.

No need of dfending, no one is attacking yes i am aware of camera bringing out actually not noticable mistakes in RL i know it best when trying to post mz works And if the tracks are bolted than its all okay! i just cant see it on the pics
happy modeling to all!

Great Job!
No complaints here...If you like it, who cares what minor mistakes there are...unless of course you enter it in a contest. Then you will just wonder why you didn't place. So I guess it's good criticism from some of your fellow modellers that point out what you overlooked, but dont worry about that, I'm positive you could pick out a few mistakes on their builds as well.
As the old saying goes, "What comes around goes around"!
By the way, Fantastic paint job!...Love the cables and tracks...

Definately not attacking at all. the finish is very nice. Trust me, I miss many things that I notice once a photo is taken. This is very nice work
As far as being picky, it probably is just because I am coming off of Judging at AMPS. I am very harsh on myself.

Very nice!
I'll take it as a reference since my next model will be a Russian tank!
